often referred to as the Second Hoogly Bridge. The Vidyasagar Setu
Bridge connects south Howrah to Kolkotta's maidan. The renowned Howrah
Bridge is often referred to as the Rabindra Setu. It links Howrah
Station to Kolkotta's Burrabazar and boasts of being the busiest
Cantilever bridge in the world. It was built in the year 1943 and is 295
ft. in height and 2150 ft in length. Indeed the Howrah Bridge is a
wonder of British Engineering.
CLIMATE

of the famous Durga Puja festival are the best time! The festival is
celebrated in the month of September or October as per the religious
