What is meant by nationality?

Nationality refers to your citizenship. In Indian law, nationality is mainly determined by the Citizenship Act along with certain provisions of the Constitution. You are an Indian national if you born in India. The law also has provisions dealing with the question of nationality of migrants during the Indo-Pak partition.
