Chicken Curry
A very light & tasty dish. Chicken cooked with
spices
Ingredients
500 GMS Chicken
3 big chopped onions
3 tsp. Ginger garlic paste
1 1/2 tsp. Chili powder
2 tsp. Coriander Powder
1/4 tsp. Cumin Powder
1/2 tsp. Garam Masala Powder
1 stick of cinnamon
2 black cardamoms
4-5 cloves
2-3 black pepper corns
Salt according to taste
5 tsp. Oil
Serve with
Serve hot
with plain rice.
Method
1.Wash your chicken
properly and keep it aside.
2.Heat 5 tsp. of oil in a pressure cooker. To it add chopped onions
and fry till golden brown in color .
3.Now add all the dry ingredients & 2 tbsp. of water and fry till
oil separates from masala.
4.Fry couple of times adding 2 tbsp. of water each time till oil
separates from the masala then add chicken and cook for 5 minutes then add
1/2 cup of water .
5.Cover the pressure cooker and cook till 3 whistles.
6.Turn off the heat and let it cool. When cooled open the lid and
on high flame let the excess water evaporate. Garnish with coriander
leaves and serve .
