Mutton Biryani
Rice delicacy with a medley of
Meat and spices
Ingredients
750 GMS
cleaned & washed Meat
2 big sliced
onions
1 tsp. Green
Chilies paste
2 1/2 tsp.
Ginger Garlic Paste
1/4 tsp.
Cumin seeds
3 Bay leaf
2 Cardamom
4 Cloves
2 tsp.
Coriander Powder
1 1/2 cups
Coconut Milk
20 Mint
Leaves (Separate leaves from stems and wash them well before using)
1/2 cup Ghee
1/4 cup
Vegetable Oil
4 cups Rice
(Soak in water for 5 min before use)
Advice
Make sure you use same measuring cup to measure water, rice and coconut
milk.

Serve with Raita.
Method
1.In a
pressure heat oil and Ghee(clarified butter) together. Add cloves ,
cardamom, bay leaves and cumin Seeds .
2.After a minute add onions to it and cook till light golden.
3.Then add chilly -ginger- garlic paste to the above and cook well
if needed add 1/4 cup water and cook till oil seeps through the mixture.
4.Then to it add cleaned meat and coriander powder and 1/2 cup of
water and cook well.
5.Cook for 2 minutes and now add coconut milk to it.
6.Mix everything and cook in a cooker until 3 or 5 whistles. Let it
cool.
7.Once the above curry is cooled separate meat pieces from the
liquid into a big bowl and measure the liquid .
8.Make sure there are 7 1/2 cups of liquid Water + above liquid
,pour it in the bowl .
9.Add the meat pieces back to the measured liquid and boil till it
starts bubbling check for salt and spice.
10.Then add soaked drained rice and sprinkle mint leaves on top and
cook it on medium heat stirring occasionally until the rice is done.
