Chicken
Hot & Spicy Chicken .. An Andhara Delicacy
Ingredients
For Marinate :
2.2 lbs. OR 1 KG of boneless
Chicken, washed & cleaned
2 tsp. Corn Flour
2 tsp. All Purpose Flour
1 Egg
1 1/2 tsp. each of Ginger-
Garlic paste
2 tsp.. Red Chili powder
For the sauce :
8 - 10 Green Chillies
2 cups of Yoghurt
1 tsp. Curry Powder ( blend of
cloves, cinnamon, cardamom)
3-4 drops of red food Color
3 tsp. Lime juice
Salt according to taste
Oil for frying
Onion rounds for garnishing
Method
1.Mix all the marinate
mixture and salt to form a thick batter. Add water if required. Add the
chicken pieces to the batter and marinate for an hour.
2.Deep fry the marinated chicken pieces till they turn golden.
3.Heat 3 tsp. oil in a pan and add chopped green chilies, yogurt,
garam masala, red color, little salt and fried chicken pieces.
4.Fry for 5-6 minutes and remove from heat.
5.Add lime juice, mix well and garnish with onions.
