Hash Rissoles
Chicken Titbits seasoned with spices
Ingredients
1 1/2 cup of Cooked, minced
chicken
8 spring onions, finely
chopped
2 cups of boiled, mashed
potatoes
2 tbsp. Chopped Coriander
leaves
2 tbsp. Mayonnaise
1/4 tsp. Freshly grated nutmeg
2 large eggs, beaten
separately
1 cup breadcrumbs
Salt, chili powder & pepper
according to taste
Oil for Shallow frying
Serve with
Green chutney Or Tomato Ketchup.
Method
1. In a bowl mix
together the chicken, onions, potatoes, mayonnaise, coriander leaves,
nutmeg, 1 egg, and seasonings.
2. Form into patties, dip in the other beaten egg, roll in the
breadcrumbs so that they get a coating and set aside to chill for 20
minutes.
3. In a large frying pan, heat the oil and cook the patties on both
the sides until golden brown.
4. Drain on a kitchen towel and serve at once.
