God was very happy with what He created looked so
beautiful. However, God's work was not finished yet. In His great plan there remained one special creature, different from
every other creatures. God said, "let us make a man. Let us make him in our own image, after our likeness, to rule over the
earth and all the living creatures in it." So God took some dust from the earth and made a man. He named him Adam. Then God
placed Adam in a beautiful garden - The Garden of Eden.
God placed many beautiful flowers and trees in the garden. The fruits were good to eat. In the middle of the garden grew the
tree of knowledge. God told Adam that he could eat the fruit of any tree in the garden, but that he could not eat any fruit
from the tree of knowledge, for if he did, he would surely die.

Adam was very happy and loved God very much. But before long Adam became very lonely. He needed a wife. God saw that this
loneliness was not good for man so one day He caused Adam to fall into a deep sleep. Then, taking one of Adam's ribs, God
made a woman. He names her Eve. Adam and Eve were very happy. They loved God and God loved them.
Then God looked at his world again and saw that it was perfect. The earth had plants and animals and people. The sea had
fish in it and birds filled the air. God was pleased and happy. Then God rested.
